    Michael G. Mirau works with individuals and organizations to enable and inspire them to develop strategies to achieve their dreams.  Mr. Mirau is a nationally recognized business coach to top executives and business owners in numerous public, private, and non-profit organizations.  Mr. Mirau has over 30 years of practical hands on business experience.  Mr. Mirau has worked with organizations in over 75 different industries varying in size from start-ups to the Fortune 50.

    His approach helps organizations and individuals to recognize and breakthrough their existing paradigms in order to solve stubborn problems and generate non-traditional approaches to working through difficult situations.  Mr. Mirau has been called the “Dr. Phil” for business owners because of his direct, no-nonsense approach.  Mr. Mirau uses established proven processes to help clients get the results they want.  His systematic approach allows his clients to understand and clarify their outcomes.

    Before graduating from Texas A&M University – Commerce, with a double major in Computer Science and Business, Mr. Mirau was very active both locally and nationally. He led both campus and regional organizations and earned a scholarship as the outstanding senior in his High School.  Mr. Mirau also holds an MBA in Organizational Development from the University of Phoenix.

    His previous career included executive and information systems management responsibilities in several different companies including E-Systems, J.C. Penney, and Interstate Batteries.  Mr. Mirau also helped start eFANshop.com, a successful Internet company.  In 2001, Mr. Mirau founded ProActive Leadership Group, a business consulting and leadership development company.  In 2007, he purchased The Growth Coach franchise for the Dallas area and quickly established himself as one of the top coaches in the organization. For the last 10 years, Mr. Mirau has been recognized as one of the top business coaches in the country by Resource Associates in Mohnton, PA being awarded the prestigious “Presidents Degree” for an unprecedented 4 years in a row.    In 2007, he was named “Rookie of the Year” by the Growth Coach organization as one of the top Coaches in the country.  In 2009, he was named “Coach of the Year” by the Growth Coach as the top business coach in the US.  In 2010, Mr. Mirau was recognized by the Growth Coach organization again as one of the top business coaches in the country and was presented the “Go Giver” award for his contributions to the Growth Coach franchise system.  In 2013, Mr. Mirau joined Gazelles International as one of the top coaches in the US.  In 2013, he was certified in the Gazelles International process and works with companies all over the US in implementing the 4 Decisions Methodology.  In 2015, Mr. Mirau was recognized by Gazelles International for their “Core Values” award, for making significant contributions to the group and the processes.

    Mr. Mirau has been extensively quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Dallas Business Journal, The Dallas Morning News, Computer World and the Society of Human Resource Management on ways to improve individual and organizational performance as well as how to develop leaders and organizations to achieve their objectives.

    Mr. Mirau also serves on numerous non-profit boards for organizations in California and Texas.
