Before graduating from Texas A&M University – Commerce, with a double major in Computer Science and Business, Mr. Mirau was very active both locally and nationally. He led both campus and regional organizations and earned a scholarship as the outstanding senior in his High School. Mr. Mirau also holds an MBA in Organizational Development from the University of Phoenix.
His previous career included executive and information systems management responsibilities in several different companies including E-Systems, J.C. Penney, and Interstate Batteries. Mr. Mirau also helped start eFANshop.com, a successful Internet company. In 2001, Mr. Mirau founded ProActive Leadership Group, a business consulting and leadership development company. In 2007, he purchased The Growth Coach franchise for the Dallas area and quickly established himself as one of the top coaches in the organization. For the last 10 years, Mr. Mirau has been recognized as one of the top business coaches in the country by Resource Associates in Mohnton, PA being awarded the prestigious “Presidents Degree” for an unprecedented 4 years in a row. In 2007, he was named “Rookie of the Year” by the Growth Coach organization as one of the top Coaches in the country. In 2009, he was named “Coach of the Year” by the Growth Coach as the top business coach in the US. In 2010, Mr. Mirau was recognized by the Growth Coach organization again as one of the top business coaches in the country and was presented the “Go Giver” award for his contributions to the Growth Coach franchise system. In 2013, Mr. Mirau joined Gazelles International as one of the top coaches in the US. In 2013, he was certified in the Gazelles International process and works with companies all over the US in implementing the 4 Decisions Methodology.
